Right now I am kind of in a stage where I'm ALWAYS bored. Right now while I'm bored I crochet. I'm crocheting a blanket for my room. The main color is kind of a misty blue. And the less used color is a color named The Gray Beard. I love both of these colors so I hope the blanket turns out alright.
One of my friends in Malawi, named Jessica, used to be my crocheting buddy. I still wish we could crochet, but the time I had doing it with her was well spent. I still hope I will be able to crochet all the time, and never ditch this hobby. It's been fun!

Tupelo
This morning I woke up at 6:40 this morning to go running to practice for the cross-country team at my high-school with my friend Claire. We ran at least 1 1/2 mi. straight without stopping. I felt accomplished. Then after our run I went to her house and then we went to Tupelo, MS. We were going there to buy room items for her room because she was re-decorating.
We went to a T.J.-Max and we were looking for a small lounge chair and a off-white bed spread. We had no luck with anything there. Then we went to a Bed Bath and Beyond and were looking for the bed spread. Still there was no luck there.
Next we went to a Ross store. We were just looking around, not looking for anything in particular. We tried on all of the highest heels and put on a lot of hats and took pictures. It was fun. It reminds me of a time when I went to a store with my friends in Malawi and we tried on hats and took a ton of pictures! That was one of my favorite days in Malawi and I will never forget it.
After Claire and I went to Ross we went to the mall and walked around and looked into clothes stores and talked about both of our own personal styles. It was very fun. After we were done with clothes we went to Bath and Body Works and smelt a lot of the scents. Then we got a pretzel and came back to Corinth. I enjoyed my day in Tupelo with Claire. I hope I can have more like them.

Home Sweet Home
Recently we moved into our new house in Corinth, MS. It's a big change from living in Malawi. Internet, electricity all the time, and central air conditioning. These were a few luxuries in Malawi that were somewhat rare. I'll still try to have the same lifestyle as I did before. Weird, spastic, dork, and so on. I'm glad to be that kind of girl. I stand out. I'm not like your average Mississippian teenager and I'm proud to be the way I am. Well anyways, this house is now a home to me. It'll never be the same as Malawi, but I like it.
Here are some pictures of my room...
Here are some pictures of my room...
This is my canopy bed. I love it. The bedding is something I've wanted for a long time do it is nice.
This is my bookshelf. I have twenty something books here in America, but I have eighty something books coming from Malawi. I LOVE to read!
This is my closet. It isn't very easy to see but shoes are on the left and clothes are on the right.
My room is very small, but it helps me control the junk I have out in the open. In Malawi my room was bigger so I had so much stuff on my walls. This will be a nice little experience for me and I'll see how it works!

It's About Time!
We are about to move into our new house. For the past month or so my family and I were taking a five hour long drive every weekend so my dad could preach. Now we have finally closed on our house and we are preparing for the move.
I have packed most of my belongings. I'm really excited and I'm looking forward to settle-ing and getting my own room. I'm so excited to live up in Corinth, MS! The process is slow but it will be worth while in the end. :)

My Little Experience... As A Tribute
So I went to a friends house... her name is Lizzie. We went on some of their land. Then we were put into teams, one girl one boy. We didn't assign districts. We got into a circle on this large circle of gravel then waited for the countdown. Then we would run away. There was no bloodbath at first. We had gamemakers who would honk the car horn to tell us who died and to tell us if we had to come and get something. So we ran into the forest and hid. Ok, to kill someone you had to pull their sock. We stuck tube socks in our pants, half of it was hanging out. So if it was pulled you were dead. Anyways, so you basically hid with your teammate or by yourself.
So now let me tell you my story...
The first round I was with this guy named John Calco. He is very tall and athletic, so I had some advantage. I told one of my friends that I was the white Rue and he was Thresh. So we ran around and made an alliance with a guy named Sam Ratcliff and Lizzie who actually put this game together. Sometime in the game the car horn honks and one of your teammates has to get a second sock. It isn't an extra life, you just have to get it within two minutes or you're dead. So John went and got ours and I hid in this really tall grass. Then I hear one of the gamemakers yell out "John Calco" is dead. So I had to run and get my sock because he died before he got it. There were a bunch of tall athletic guys hiding near the Cornucopia and were attacking someone when they came. I figured that out so I ran to a sock farthest from them then I darted out as fast as possible. I was running through a pasture with tall grass, maybe as tall as me. Then I heard someone coming so I hid behind a tree. All of a sudden i hear this crack then a thud and someone scurrying away. It ended up being someone falling out of a pine tree. I almost lauhged because that is what happens to Cato but there was someone near me. Then the game-maker shouted out "The mutts are released!" And I got really scared... So a mutt chased me down and then I ran into a thorn bush. I told him and he gave me a ten second head start. But that wasn't enough for me because I had to run uphill in thick grass. Then the John on my team was chasing me because he became a mutt. He is really fast and we ran for a really long time. He was reaching for my sock while we ran and I hit his hand away. Then we ran on some gravel and I turned around and he tripped so I darted away but then he quickly caught up. I couldn't run any longer, so I gave up and he pulled my sock. It hurt but then I felt good at how much I ran. That was the first round.... and I got in seventh place out of 21!
The Second Round....
This time I was on a team with another guy who is tall and athletic. He is basically cato with dark hair. His name is also John! He said he was going to run around and kill people and I was to go find a pond and hide near it. I made an alliance with a girl named Susanna and a girl named Anna. This round everybody had to come get a sock. Not just one person per team. We were too far to hear exactly what they were shouting so we moved closer. We couldn't see if socks were out so we sent Anna in to go see. She died... sadly. So Susanna and I layed on the ground and sat there. One guy literally walked right past us.Like 2 inches away. We wanted to move to a place with less people so we started to inch over to a bush. Then we just stood up and ran. We squeezed into the bush/tree thing. Then someone walked past and saw us. They killed Susanna and I darted away as fast as I could. It came to the time for us to get our second sock. Then I got my second sock and I ran back to the same bush. This time I was concealed really well. People walked past me until one person walked by and shined his flashlight on me. There was a water pipe in front of me so I was lucky he said to his allie that it was a water pipe. But they walked around and they kept shining their flashlight to me. So when they started coming my way (by the way the water pipe was metal) I darted out and hit my foot against the pipe. It made the loudest sound imaginable! But they let me run away 'cause they thought I hurt myself. So then I hid in the same place as I did in the first round. I hid in the grassy area. Then the gamemaker yelled out that all surviving tributes were to come to the Cornucopia. I was only a few feet away so I walked slowly there trying to devise a plan. We had to continue playing but only on the gravel part. I hid deep in the shadows out of the carlight. I was fighting against this guy named Graham, the John on my team this round, and a girl named Margaret (she is basically a ninja). So we were staying away from each other. Then John killed Graham. Then they let in a mutt. I was being chased by him so Margaret saw she had no chance of winning against John so she pulled her socks. I kept running around in circles then he caught up with me. And obviously I died. John won and I got second place! I was proud of myself.
There was one last round but it was not as fun. We had to stay in the gravel the whole time. I hid in the shadows with Lizzie and Susanna. Then they let in the mutts again and I was chased and I died. I got in 5th place that time. After the Hunger Games were over we had s'mores and they were awesome! Sam Ratcliff made me a marshmallow and he is a proffesional at it! It was light brown and crusty on the outside but nice gooey on the inside. I just want one right now! So yes! That was my epic Hunger Games Day!

Hey! I'm a nerd!
To be a nerd, I think is something special. I'm proud to be one. I'm not ashamed to walk around in my Batman shirt, be the only girl watching the Avengers movie, comparing myself to the Big Bang Theory characters, and most of all... being obsessed with something that is nerdy to people. I'm proud to be called a weirdo, dork, geek, and nerd.
I'm also smart. I make A's in some interesting subjects, like science and history... but overall, I'm doing just fine with my grades. I love to talk about the latest comic book I just read and not taking notice of the looks I get. I'm glad who I am, I'm glad God made me like this. I struggle here and there, but I come out looking alright.
My friends and I in Malawi were all usually obsessed with the same things. Liz and I were obsessed with The Hunger Games, Sarah and I were obsessed with The Joker, Lorraine (The girl who let me borrow the first EVER Batman comic I ever read) and I were obsessed with The Prestige and Batman. I'm thankful I had those kind of people in my life. They made me who I am.
All I just want is people to be proud of who they are. Don't be ashamed of what people may think of you. See, I love being a weird person out in public. I am MYSELF, YOU are YOURSELF! That was how it was meant to be. Wouldn't it be boring if everything was gray, dull, bland, and everything the same? The world needs color in it, and you and I are one of those colors. So yeah, be yourself!
Thankyou...

The Reaping Hair
Ok, who likes the Hunger Games Trilogy? Well I found out how to do the hair of Katniss when she is volunteers as tribute.
Part your hair down the middle. Then braid your hair with the two prices of hair. Be sure to pull your hair back so there aren't bumps in the end. Then pull one braid back and start pinning it down. Wrap around with both braids to make a flat bun.
Hey! Now you look like Katniss! Good luck!

What's Next?
Who knows what will happen next? Pretty soon my family and I
are going to move up North to Corinth, MS. I’m pretty excited about it. The move from Malawi to the
States was ok I guess. I’m really going to miss Malawi though… especially my
friends. I just hope that I will be able to meet someone similar to them. I was
blessed to have people like that in my life though.
I’m different…
I’m spastic, sometimes psycho. I love to read. I like to also read comic
books (especially Batman), I enjoy singing to myself now and then. I like art…
even though I’m not fantastic at it. I like to dress up and be in character. I
like to write. I’m a very weird weirdo! I like to take pictures of flowers and
stuff outside. I love spending a lot of times in the woods. I pretend I’m in
some book I really enjoyed. Sometimes it is so real to me I believe it. I’m a
freak about animals, nature, and science. I LOVE to smile. J
I don’t know… I’m not different,
I’m ME! And I’m proud to be!
I have this one friend in Malawi named Sarah Young. She and I are
basically exactly alike! We are spastic, weirdos, sometimes psycho, and
occasionally we can tell what the other one is thinking. Even when we’re
fourteen years old we love to play little kid games that we made up when we
were nine. We love to have tea parties and dress up. One time (with Elizabeth
Trumble) we had a tea party and dressed up. Sarah was the Mad Hatter, Liz was
the green version of the Cheshire Cat and I was the Joker. Sarah’s older brother chased us around.
He dressed up as a mutant. Everybody said I looked pretty creepy. See what I
mean? I get into character. Well anyways, here’s a picture…
With Liz, we would usually get obsessed with the same things. We
would talk about them for hours! I could never do that with anybody else. I
hope someday I will be able to meet some people like them. I really do miss
them. I miss every one else too. I
will see them again someday!
MISS YOU GUYS!

F-O-U-R-T-E-E-N-!
Well, thursday was my birthday. I had a pretty fun time, I guess. I got a couple of awesome pictures from my friends and a jello cake as well. It was really good but it made me sick. My birthday was on a chapel day and so I was sung to. Everybody kept saying "happy b-day "to me over and over again. I'm kind of glad it's over now. My 13 years of life has been really fun!

Nature Pictures :D
There's not very many pics, but I'll get some more next time. The nature in Malawi is just what I picture God to be. Beautiful. The pea flower was actually taken in San Diego. I'm pretty proud of because it looks sort of like a professional photograph. The others were flowers from my garden at my house.
Isn't God amazing? He must have a very creative imagination to come up with such beauty. I mean, there are thousands of different looking plants and they are all unique in their own way. Just like human beings. This is really amazing. Are you with me? Thanks God, a lot! You gave all of us such wonder to behold. He is amazing
